The second Kitsap Invitational Summer Scrimmage (KISS) will take place on Sunday 28 July, from 6:30 am to 12:00 noon, on Liberty Bay. KRA is co-hosting this event together with Bainbridge Island Rowing and Clam Island Rowing. This rowing regatta involves four- and eight-person rowing shells and one-, two-, or four-person rowing sculls, from several West Sound rowing clubs (Kitsap Rowing, Bainbridge Island Rowing, Port Angeles, Rat Island Rowing, Tuf’ as Nails, Sequim Bay, Clam Island Rowing, and Vashon Island).

The KISS is a USRowing Association (USRA) sanctioned event adhering to all rules of rowing and USRA/KRA safety procedures and has been approved by the US Coastguard.

Shells will launch from Oyster Plant Park. The approximately 4800 m course starts at Pearson Point, heading north on the west side of Liberty Bay. Boats, turning at the North Buoy positioned with the Gazebo at Waterfront Park and returning to the finish line at Pearson Point.
